In his book The Coming Revival, Bill Bright reported that "only two percent of believers in America regularly share their faith in Christ with others" (NewLife Publications, p. 65).
Did you know that no more than 2%
of those in the church today participate in evangelism. Why do you think this
is and what can be done to change those statistics?
Here is what a group called
International Missions Board says:
" A people group is unreached
when the number of Evangelical Christians is less than 2% of its population. It
is further called unengaged when there is no church planting methodology
consistent with Evangelical faith and practice under way. A people group in not
engaged when it has been merely adopted, is the object of
focused prayer, or is part of an advocacy strategy. "
What do you think? Do you think
that if more Christians were trained to do evangelism, and wanted to do so, would this
country look different?
